The Yoga Day Camp is for children ages 5 – 11.  The program offers a warm, friendly and supportive environment for kids from all backgrounds.  Our philosophy is of joy, kindness and inclusion.  Children will be treated with respect and understanding.  A variety of experiences will be offered: yoga postures, circle time-sharing with an uplifting theme, music, nature activities, cooking, projects, crafts, active play, and—a favorite among all children—swimming! Children can swim in our built-in swimming pool.  Our adult teachers and volunteers offer a variety of projects throughout the week to keep the children engaged, safe and happy.

Camp fee on a sliding scale: $250-$450

The Camp will once again be held at the beautiful 5-acre Ananda Community campus located at 20715 Larch Way in Lynnwood, WA 98036.  The campus includes organic gardens, wooded trails, open lawn for games, large kitchen for cooking projects, yoga studio, creative art room, covered stage for creative expression, playground equipment, a sandbox and a swimming pool.

SUNSCREEN AUTHORIZATION FORM

The Children's Yoga Summer Camp in Lynnwood is aware of how damaging UV rays from the sun can be to your child’s skin. We encourage application of sunscreen. It is the parents’ responsibility to apply sunscreen to their child before sending their child to camp in the morning. During the day, however, the protection wears off. If you would like for the camp staff to reapply sunscreen after lunch, please give us your permission below. Children eight years of age and older may administer their own sunscreen under the supervision of a staff member. Sunscreen must be provided by parents and must be in the original container labeled with the child’s name and must be current. A sunscreen authorization form must be on file in order for staff to administer sunscreen. If no form is completed, our staff will not apply sunscreen. This permission slip will be valid for as long as your child is attending the Children's Yoga Summer Camp or until a written request is submitted to nullify the above stated terms
