Friday, February 21, 7.30 to 9 p.m. (free)

The “Night of Shiva” is celebrated in India each year in the winter. Apart from its traditional cultural forms, we will focus on honoring Shiva (symbol of the inward flowing power of AUM) as the destroyer of delusion. Communing with the Aum vibration in the chakras, the meditating yogi combats past karma inwardly so that the life force (prana) can ascend the astral spine towards enlightenment!

This evening we will celebrate Shivaratri with chanting, sacred fire ceremony mantras, arati (candlelight ceremony), prasad (blessed food), and stories of Lord Shiva! All are welcome.
