Celebration of Swami Kriyananda’s Birthday (1926)

This year we commemorate the birth and life of Ananda’s founder, Swami Kriyananda with an ensemble of singers, musicans, readers, and inspirational sharing broadcast live from the Hermitage on Camano Island.
“Swamiji,” born on this day in 1926 and leaving this world in 2013, was a disciple of and trained personally by Paramhansa Yogananda. His life of discipleship included the founding of communities throughout the world, composition of hundreds of pieces of music in a new genre, countless books, and thousands of talks and TV shows. Most of all, Swamiji was a divine friend to all whom he met.
