Wednesday Evening Yoga with Friends | All Levels Yoga

Ananda Yoga is a heart-centered approach to Hatha Yoga that emphasizes inner awareness, energy upliftment, and calmness of mind. Join a team of Ananda Yoga Teachers friends who teach collaboratively in this weekly drop in class. Bonded by the joy of attending Yoga Teacher Training together this team of talented teachers looks forward to offering you the experience the true nature of yoga! Join James, Jenny, Simone, Maria, Raxita & Seraphine, who take turns teaching each week, for this uplifting class. This class is offered in person in Bothell or you can join online using the Zoom link below.

Ananda Yoga includes:

* Asanas (classic yoga postures)

* Pranayama (traditional raja yoga breathing and energy-control techniques)

* Effective meditation & centering techniques, including affirmations

Meet Your Teachers!

James RYT-200

James was drawn to yoga not only for its physical benefits but for the deeper sense of clarity, peace, and purpose it helps awaken.

James offers a gentle, grounded presence and a focus on mindful movement, breath, and self-discovery. Inspired by the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and the lineage of Ananda teachers and gurus, he invites students of all levels to experience yoga as a doorway to their own inner strength, joy, and resilience. James is honored to support others in cultivating a personal connection to the deeper aspects of yoga – on and off the mat.

Raxita RYT-200

Raxita is a certified Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of training from Ananda Yoga. Inspired by her yoga training, she embarked on a journey to explore the spiritual realm. Her passion for yoga and meditation, initially cultivated as a personal practice, has grown into a lifelong commitment to teaching and sharing its transformative benefits. She specializes in Hatha yoga, emphasizing mindful movement, breath awareness, and fostering a harmonious connection between the mind and body. Raxita creates an inclusive environment for students of all levels, encouraging personal growth, self-awareness, and inner peace.

Her classes are centered around a nurturing approach, inspiring students both physically and mentally.

Simone RYT-200

Simone completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Ananda Institute of Living Yoga. She sought out yoga as a means to embody a comprehensive way of living in alignment – spiritually, physically, ethically and emotionally. Her aims are: to create a life of moving meditation, and channel these practices with reverence and devotion.

Jenny RYT-200

Over a decade ago, yoga served as a catalyst of profound healing in my life- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  It is with this gratitude and devotion that I am delighted to support others in discovering the multitude of benefits that Ananda Yoga offers! The unique approach of consciously lifting one’s energy through movement, attunement, pranayama, affirmation, and spinal/energy awareness allows for transformation from the inside out.  Yoga not only brings alignment to the physical body, it calls us into the depths of our inner being and awakens the energy that animates all of life.  Let’s come together and experience the sacred art of yoga, so that your life may be infused with the harmony and joy it awakes within!
