Please note! The yoga postures portion of this retreat is now full. We are still taking sign ups for lunch (at 12 noon) and Nayaswami Hriman’s class starting at 1pm.

Jesus tells us that “The kingdom of heaven is within you” and this includes the entire matrix of our karma residing like hidden gems along the astral spine in the energy centers called the chakras. While the conscious mind cannot “see” this complex matrix, the energy body and mind can access it because past karma takes the form of energy vortices: whirlpools called “vrittis” in Sanskrit. 

In this retreat-workshop, we will use yoga, breath awareness and control (pranayams) plus chanting to stir these energy centers to shake loose and dissolve upward toward release. This allows the sacred energy of Kundalini otherwise locked at the base of the spine to begin the process of ascent from body to soul freedom.

• Tension and relaxation exercises (standing)
• Yoga postures for the chakras (adapted for all levels)
• Pranayam (breath) techniques for deep awareness of the chakras
• Chanting at the chakras
• Opening of the lotus flowers of the chakras (Srimad Bhagavatam) 
• Aspects of the chakras: sounds, colors, shapes, and more
• Astrology of the chakras
• Psychological aspects, plus and minus, of the chakras
• Soul qualities of the chakras
• Chakra deities
