Question: How can I be more successful at work?

Answer: Success is not entirely the fruit of native talent, people you know, or just plain good luck to the degree that most people imagine.

Material success comes from focusing on the task at hand with patience and perseverance. It can include developing your skills and mingling with others who are successful.

Learn to do one thing at a time and to finish the job. Through daily meditation you can learn to focus one pointedly calm calmly on the task at hand.

One of the greatest keys to success comes to us from the Bhagavad Gita long ago. The wisdom offered is one of the great examples of paradox in life because the Gita teaches the importance of non-attachment. Non-attachment is not indifference; non-attachment means to focus on what you’re doing without being overly concerned about the results. Hence the cliché: do your best and let God do the rest.
