Power of Breath Through Raja Yoga
August 23, 2025 @ 11:00 am – 12:30 pm PDT
What Is Life? Breath? Energy? We often say we feel “more alive” when we’re energized—but what does that really mean? In yogic philosophy, breath is more than a biological function. It’s the expression of prana—life force, vitality, and consciousness itself.
In this experiential class, you will be guided through breathwork and gentle yoga postures, giving you the chance to experience how:
- Breath awareness becomes a meditative practice that brings peace
- Inhalation can uplift energy, affirming joy and strength
- Exhalation can release tension, sorrow, and invite surrender
- Balanced breath leads to deeper concentration and inner stillness
- Slow breathing enhances emotional resilience and nervous system harmony
What is Raja Yoga?
Though typically thought of as postures, Yoga means “union”, and Raja means “Royal”. Put together, Raja Yoga is the practice of postures, breathwork and meditation, and an entire way of living.
Whether you’re new to yoga and/or meditation, or seeking a deeper connection to your practice and with yourself, this class is a wonderful entry point into The Art and Science of Raja Yoga. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and more attuned to the subtle energies that shape your experience of life.
“With every inhale, feel you are drawing in not only air, but strength, vitality and joy. With every exhale, feel you are expelling from your mental world all weakness and negativity.”
Come breathe, move, and meditate with us—and rediscover what it means to truly feel alive.
