Paramhansa Yogananda tells us that there is no such thing as standing still, one is either moving forward or backward. On that note, we’d like to share with you an opportunity to move Forward! To move forward at the Heart Song Retreat, that is.

This is a step, that we can all take together. When we all coordinated to purchase the property we knew that the beautiful solarium would need to be replaced in order to see the Light Shine through the panes for many decades to come. For two years the rain has dripped through the ceiling of the solarium, with numerous buckets catching the rain, and overflowing with water when we’re not there! The solarium is one of the most attractive features of Harmony House for it adds Light, joy and a connection with the garden and trees beyond. It’s too precious to lose.

Recently we’ve been exploring what a replacement might cost. A few of us met several solarium contractors. To our amazement, the bid from our favorite company (Pergomatic) for the new solarium is very reasonable. Believe it or not, the bid came to $108,000 including sales tax. Imagine, that’s about the same price as the one new bathroom in Hansa at the community!

We have received commitments for $84,000 already. Divine Mother has been busy at work. As we scale Mt Solarium to allow the Light to Shine into the beautiful Heart Song building, the new amount of $24,000 is even more reachable if we can work together on it! We’ll keep you updated.
