Ananda Yoga for Strength and Awareness with Maria

In these classes Maria will guide you in cultivating physical strength and energetic balance gradually and safely. Strength, stamina, and flexibility are developed not merely for fitness or the outward appearance of the body, but as gateways that prepare the body and mind for meditation, higher awareness, and a more balanced, harmonious life.
Each session includes dynamic and static breath-centered sequencing, mindful transitions, and all-level asanas that support the release of energy blockages, awaken inner energy flow, and nurture stability, lightness, and focused presence. Classes conclude with deep relaxation, and occasionally with an optional brief five-minute meditation. The practice balances vitality with stillness, helping you feel grounded, uplifted, and inwardly clear.
Maria, a certified RYT-200 teacher through the Ananda Institute of Living Yoga, brings over a decade of consistent self-practice and study in yoga, including advanced international workshops and spiritually aligned disciplines.
