Ananda Yoga for Every Body with Christina

Join Christina for Ananda Yoga for Every Body. We will take a slightly slower pace, work mindfully with the body and breath, and offer the use of props (including chairs) to encourage body alignment so that you can experience what each yoga pose has to offer! This class is suitable for all levels.  Christina has taught over 1,000 hours of yoga and also teaches in our Yoga Teacher Training program.

Ananda means bliss.  Ananda Yoga is the inspiration of Paramhansa Yogananda the author of Autobiography of a Yogi, and is firmly rooted in the ancient hatha yoga tradition.  In Ananda Yoga we take time to breath, move into poses with optimal alignment based on your body, and pause to go inward and feel the results of the pose on the body, mind, and breath.  We work directly with the body and breath to promote harmony and wellness of body and mind.
