Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 (200 Hour Certification)

Rather than focusing only on the physical body, Ananda Yoga harnesses the subtle energy of each asana, channeling it inward and upward. As an Ananda Yoga teacher, you will experience and share the higher states of awareness attainable through each asana.

We will learn the classic Hatha Yoga postures (asanas) with a focus on the subtle aspects such as breath awareness (pranayama), prana (energy) in the spine and chakras, affirmations, safe yoga practice, individual modifications, 8-Fold Path & yoga sutras, spiritual awakening, anatomy, and much more!

Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 Schedule: 

11 Weekends Beginning Sep. in Bothell, and Thursday evenings Sep. through Nov. in Bothell.

THURSDAY SCHEDULE 6 PM to 9 PM at Bothell Meditation Temple (Thursday nights) 9/6 – 11/29

WEEKEND SCHEDULE 

Saturday’s 9 – 6 PM,  Sun 1 – 5:30 PM, Bothell Yoga Hall

Weekend 1: Sept 8, 9

Weekend 2: Sept 22, 23

Weekend 3 WHIDBEY RETREAT: Oct 5-7,  Fri. 2– 9:30 pm, Sat 6 am – 9:30 pm, Sun 6 am – 4:30 pm

Weekend 4: Oct 13, Saturday only, 9 – 4:30 PM, Lynnwood Community

Weekend 5: Oct 20-21

Weekend 6: Nov 3-4

Weekend 7: Dec 1-2

Weekend 8: Dec 15-16

Weekend 9: Jan 12-13

Weekend 10: Jan 26-27

Weekend 11: Feb 9-10

Costs:

Tuition for the Yoga Teacher Training is $3,515. This includes retreat weekend but not the texts. All students must enroll in the Institute of Living Yoga which requires the payment of a one-time, nonrefundable application fee of $50. Payment plans for all courses are available.
