Life After Life: Commemoration of the “Mahasamadhis” of Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Sri Yukteswar, and the Lives of Saints of East & West.

It was on March 7, 1952 at the famous Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles in the presence of the Indian ambassador to America and other distinguished guests, that Paramhansa Yogananda departed the earth plane as he finished reciting his poem, “My India!”

On March 9, 1936, Yogananda’s guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar left his physical body never to return!

The lives of saints and masters of East and West are living testimony to our soul’s immortality: both in life and in death. Conquering hatred, fear and selfishness by the power of the unconquerable divine love and wisdom, tonight we celebrate our own soul’s immortal nature as demonstrated to us by the greatest saints.

We will share stories and readings, music and chants and inspiration in this celebration. Prasad (blessed food) to follow. All are invited.

A group Mahasamadhi meditation will take place from 5:45 – 6:45 pm.
