Join us for a special morning at Heart Song Retreat, discovering the beauty, abundance, and quiet inspiration of the natural world as we welcome the first hints of autumn.

Set among nearly five acres of mature trees, gardens, ponds, and meandering paths, Heart Song is a place to slow down, look more closely, and experience nature in a relaxing and uplifting way. There are countless details to notice as we explore: the play of golden light through the trees, the sounds of birds, the fragrance of flowers, and the changing colors and textures of the season.

We’ll begin with a cup of coffee or tea and a leisurely walk around the property, getting acquainted with the gardens and discovering what is ready to be gathered. As summer begins to give way to autumn, we’ll notice the abundance that remains in the gardens, the flowers, foliage, seed heads, berries, and other seasonal treasures.

Along the way, you’ll choose the flowers and foliage that catch your eye and create your own collection of seasonal treasures, embracing the colors, textures, and natural beauty of early autumn. Extra seasonal flowers will be brought in to add to our arranging choices.

Back inside, we’ll learn the classic spiral technique for making a bouquet. With guidance along the way, you’ll bring your gathered stems together into a beautiful, hand-made bouquet to take home, a little piece of the season you have gathered for yourself.

$50 with a $15 supply fee ($65)

Pricing includes the program, program supplies, coffee/tea, and delicious sweets and savories. Weather permitting, we’ll conclude outside enjoying these goodies!
