Vibes High: A Healing Retreat

August 1, 2026 @ 12:00 pm 6:00 pm PDT

Join long-time Ananda members, Steve Bonnell and Melissa Yaden, for a day of positive vibrations through chanting, creativity and sound healing. This epic mind/body reset will be held at Ananda’s beautiful Heart Song Retreat.

Chanting:
We’ll take a deep devotional dive into both well-known and lesser sung chants. By energizing the throat we can strengthen the flow of intuition; connecting the brain and the heart, we’ll explore the anatomy of chanting and offer our voice as a channel for higher connection.

Healing with Creativity:
One of our most sacred gifts as humans is to open ourselves to Divine creativity. Whether you’re a professional artist, a hobbyist, or someone who rarely feels creative, everyone can benefit from having tools that spark creativity and invite boundless joy into their lives. Today will be an opportunity for support, new ideas, and understanding of how creativity can help us to heal and become instruments for peace, joy and love.

Sound Healing:
It has been said that if a singing bowl is being played with intention, no negativity may exist. Sound healing relaxes the body by engaging the parasympathetic nervous system and clears the aura by temporarily removing static from one’s auric field. Used for millennia in Nepal and Tibet, among other places, singing bowls carry with them ancient understanding of how to still the mind and body to receive Divine awareness. We will use sound healing to integrate our day’s journey and move our Spirit closer to union with the Divine.
