Dear Friends, Our ability to think makes us human; through mighty feats of the intellect, science has given us the gift of a longer life, greater conveniences, and unmatched material comfort. We understand the Universe better than ever before. But this understanding is of little help in finding lasting happiness; or, in what is essentially the same thing, in finding God. The Sankhya philosophy of India declares: Ishwara Asidhah – God cannot be proven (or disproven). God is not to be proven, but to be felt. Paramhansa Yogananda said, “God watches the heart”. True understanding comes when our thinking is attuned to Divine Love. |
