“Jesus Christ Is Born this Day”……… an exploration of Christmas through Art

Consider the deep meaning of Christmas with Robyn and Jamuna as they tell the story through the wisdom of Yogananda and the power of art. We will do this by examining the gospel accounts and contemplating the great altar pieces and works by artists through the ages of Christendom. The deep joy and expansion that we feel in this season, springs from the spiritual events surrounding the birth of an avatar.

Robyn Mattis is an artist and an inspiring teacher through Ananda. She offers an 8- week meditation course at the Hansa Temple at the Ananda Lynnwood Community.

Jamuna Snitkin is a longtime member of Ananda, a teacher, minister and artist.
