Let us explore the intrinsic potential of art to communicate the soul’s presence to both the artist and to the participant. Art can be a spiritually creative process giving rise to joy and beauty in the decorative arts all the way to revealing the presence of more hidden realities of God’s presence in this world.
These four classes will include an examination of great artists and their works as examples of superconscious creativity.
Class #1 July7th will begin the exploration of such questions as:
· Is creativity only a personal talent,or can we all access it?
· Where does inspiration come from?
· Who is creating, and why?
· What is the role of the mind? Theheart?
· What is the role of the artist?
Class #2 July 14th Let’s look at Leonardo Da Vinci
Class #3 July 21 Let’s look at Vincent Van Gogh
Class#4 July 28 Let’s look at Guido Odierna (a contemporary favorite of Swami Kriyananda)
