Would you like to experience the peace and joy that diving into the silence can give? How about realizing you can meditate longer and enjoy it more? How about making time for reading spiritual books and listening to inspirational messages that you can’t seem to get to?

Most importantly Paramhansa Yogananda counseled, “Seclusion is the price to greatness.” Most religions worldwide indicate that seclusion is a key practice in the lives of the saints and seekers.

In this class we will explore:

  • Signs indicating a need for seclusion
  • Pitfalls that can detract from a good seclusion
  • When, where and how long do we seclude?
  • What do we do in seclusion?
  • Develop a checklist of items to bring (and not bring) for seclusion.
  • Plan a sample short and longer seclusion, based on your circumstances.

Whether you have done a seclusion before or if you are considering taking one for the first time, come for inspiration and practical suggestions.

A delicious vegetarian lunch will be included.
