Part 1 – Ananda Ceremonies: history & meaning – Sunday, February 15, 12 noon – 1 p.m. (free)

All are welcome to learn about the history and meaning of the Ananda Festival of Light and Purification ceremonies. We do these weekly ceremonies with little to no explanation.  Your appreciation of these sacred services can be greatly enhanced by a deeper understanding of them.

Part 2 – Satsang: Sanskrit ceremonies: meaning & practice – Sunday, March 15, 12 noon – 1 p.m. (free)

We will review the words, meaning and pronunciation of the fire ceremony mantras (Gayatri and Mahamrityunjaya mantras). In addition as time permits we’ll practice chanting the great mantra: AUM.
