Tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. & Mahatma Gandhi

With music, readings, audio and video clips from their lives, we celebrate the courage, wisdom, and example of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi in this evening’s tribute.

The message of these two warriors for peace, equality, and justice is relevant to the needs of society today. Inspired by an inner spiritual life, and informed by divine guidance, King and Gandhi have shown humanity the way to resolve differences, inequality, and injustice in an age where violence is increasingly unacceptable. 

This tribute is presented by members of Ananda from the Blue Lotus Temple in Bothell. More than a historical recollection, this tribute will inspire and energize your life. All are welcome.
