In the book Art as a Hidden Message, Swami Kriyananda suggests that art is an inside job. If we open ourselves to the superconscious flow we will be able to draw inspiration from the universe to overcome a merely personal statement.

The visual image can provoke a narrative; a piece of writing might evoke a visual image. We will bring these two arts together for a Saturday workshop with Aditi and Jamuna. Working with periods of silent meditation, reading and discussion on art and writing, this time will bring us closer to the divine flow of creativity.

Nayaswami Jamuna is an Ananda minister, Lightbearer and artist. Aditi Muir holds an MFA in Creative Writing and instructs Ananda’s Raja Yoga course.
