The teaching of reincarnation is the single-most important doctrine underlying the teachings of the east. It brings comfort, hope, and understanding to humankind. Karma and reincarnation are inextricably linked like two sides of a coin, and they offer to us a view of our soul’s journey through time and space that parallels that of modern science.
This workshop, based on the book by the same name by Paramhansa Yogananda, speaks from realized wisdom and experience, not mere philosophical speculation. Yogananda assures us of God’s love and goodness through all eternity.

We will cover such vital subjects as:
• Why do we see a world of suffering and inequality?
• How should we handle the challenges in our lives?
• What happens at death? After death? Is there a heaven? Hell?
• What is evil and who is responsible for it?

Ananda ministers and teachers Omprakash and Prem-Shanti Rider offer this fascinating and essential workshop to discuss the mysteries and promise of life and our soul’s great destiny.

Kirtan and Meditation @ Ananda Meditation Temple

Open your heart and still your mind to the Divine presence through devotional chanting! We use Indian harmoniums, guitars, drums, kirtals (bells), gong, and sometimes even harp! Chants by Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Kriyananda, and mantras from India. We follow the chanting by going inwards and meditation for about 45 minutes.

Saturdays once a month: March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27, July 25 (Babaji commemoration Kirtan) , August 29 (Krishna Kirtan)

Purification Ceremony, 9 – 9:15 am

The Purification Ceremony is an opportunity for you to individually pray for purification and invoke God’s grace and power through the masters.  Instructions are available in the foyer or in the sanctuary.

Silent Meditation, 9:15 – 9:45 am

The silent meditation period begins with a chant at 9:15 (chant books with words are available). Just before the close of meditation at 9:45, the minister will lead us in offering healing prayers.

Sunday Service in Bothell @ Ananda Meditation Temple

Sundays at Ananda Meditation Temple are the highlight of the week and are an excellent occasion for your first visit. Sunday Service is drawn from the ancient meditation tradition of the East and the mystical traditions of Christ, with scriptural readings from both the Bible and the Bhagavad Gita. Service includes music, chanting, a brief period of meditation, an inspirational talk, and a beautiful ceremony called A Festival of Light.
